Rescue Charges on Ski Slopes

Each winter, the municipalities of Arâches-La-Frasse, Magland and Passy, through the Syndicat Intercommunal, are responsible for organising a safety service on the ski slopes within the ski area.
In Flaine, this service is provided by the ski area operator, Grand Massif Domaine Skiable (GMDS), which responds quickly and efficiently, using appropriate human and technical resources.

For any rescue operation carried out on the ski slopes, all costs incurred by the Syndicat Intercommunal de Flaine will be charged to the rescued persons (or their legal beneficiaries).

This measure applies to all sports and leisure activities, including alpine skiing, snowboarding, hiking, paragliding, sledging, cross-country skiing, etc.
